Author's Description:

I took my camera along on an adventure with my family to the Landing, an area along the Mississippi riverfront in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The work took on a scenic quality almost immediately, and (despite my being a tourist as well) I was able to detach myself enough to create some interesting photographs that capture the essence of the area and the visitors I was one among.

The pictures celebrate the joy of summer…a story infused with color, movement, and our happiness — caught in a carefree motion. I watched, breaking down patterns, exploring how we move…overlapping my work just enough to land here, amongst other scenes I created this summer.
