I wanted to share another look at Augusta, Missouri, this time from a home with an interesting little garage. For those of you that have been to Augusta, well, you already know what I’m talking about. For those of you who haven’t, perhaps you’ll be as bemused as I, perhaps not, of this next picture…

As I saw this shot appear on the horizon I think my eyes fell out of my head.  The light was perfect at this time of day and casting long shadows across and away from the scene. I didn’t even wait for the car to stop before I jumped out and began making pictures.

No idea what he did to get himself all caged up, but it must have been something wild since there’s Mardi Gras beads hanging from the review mirror inside and his front panel on the one side has been torn off. This cat may be getting along in years, but evidently he’s still a wild one. I think I’ll call this one Caged Up.
