Author's Description:

Walking up toward this abandoned barn, I couldn’t help but think about the lives that were lived, the dreams, the plans, the work, the family. I didn’t see a farmhouse on this property, like I have on all the others, but the feeling I had was the same…hope and dreams aren’t enough to live here.

Ironically, if you walk around to the back of this property, with million dollar homes sitting so close to the fence line, too soon the dreams of one, turn to the other and say, “Work harder, baby, because dreams die…”
