Author's Description:

I visited the area of St. Charles County, where the Katy Trail starts in Missouri. This is an area just before the water entry for the river. Just fields separate this side of the Trail. Small fields, with a field that grew corn pictured here. Even though this field had been plowed prior to winter, I could tell it was corn for crop by the sight of cobs still scattered across the ground.
